Get to know me.
Hi, I’m Cody Hilsky, Media & Communications Coordinator at Higher Praise Worship Center. I’m passionate about using creativity, technology, and ministry to help share the message of Christ both inside and outside the church walls.
I am a prior service member who proudly served in the United States Army for over six years as an Imagery Analyst, where I developed experience in visual analysis, communication, and mission focused teamwork. I also earned an Associate degree in Geospatial Intelligence through Cochise College.
I graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Cinematography and was honored with awards for Best Lighting and Best Instructional Video during the Full Sail Film Festival. I also completed three years of Graphic Design studies at Purdue University and plan to continue pursuing my degree.
Outside of ministry, I own Faith Based Lawncare and also work professionally in wedding photography, video production, live streaming, and creative media. I enjoy helping people capture meaningful moments while using media and storytelling to make a lasting impact.
At Higher Praise, I help oversee livestream production, social media, church communications, event promotion, and creative projects that help connect people with our church family. My goal is to use every opportunity, talent, and platform God has given me to encourage others and glorify Him through both ministry and everyday life.
